So. Vancouver General Hospital -where my aunt is NOT tonight- just upgraded their electronic records systems last week -the night she was first admitted-. It's created a lot of small problems during her two stays.
The place is crawling with the record company's support staff, wearing red, green, and blue t-shirts.
Their "medical support" tech support wear red t-shirts.
In the ER yesterday, the calls over the PA system were frequent: "Will a redshirt please report to--" a room number, the lab, this or that stretcher area etc. It was constant.
In my brain, of course, all these redshirts were of course killed -like all self-respecting redshirts, right?- and left on the floor in various corners of the ER.
