We let children go to school, and force them into active shooter drills because we are unwilling to do anything about the ammosexuals who worship the Second Amendment and refuse any limits on arming themselves.

Now violence has intruded in a spectacular fashion into the hall of Congress.

It won't change anything, of course.

But, still, there is something profoundly upsetting about this tweet from an MSNBC producer, Kyle Griffin:

Just on msnbc: During a briefing on security threats, House Democrats were reminded that the purchase of a bulletproof vest is a "reimbursable expense."

Somehow, that's an extra level of horror on top of all the other crap.
