I love my daughters.
11 Dec 2021 21:341. Daughter #1 dropped off her d*g for a week. She's headed to Iceland and the UK, alas with Dipshit, for 10 days. We'll be keeping Nader for a week, then a friend of hers will take him for the remaining three days of her trip, because I need to get my house cleaned before Christmas.
2. Daughter #2 announced that she forgot -she hoped- her wallet in her dorm room. So instead of going on my walk, I drove her the 90 miles up to Bellingham, and straight back down. I had planned on walking up there (there is a park trail that I've been meaning to do) but the weather was atrocious (hail) and we headed back down.
I'll add... we had no power last night. Windy windy weather. It went out between midnight (when I went to bed) and 2 am (when I went to pee). It was off when I got up at 4am, and I was awake until about 8 am. I fell asleep for about an hour. When I woke up to find it on. The night was both confusing and disjointed.
