Nasty smoky weather

Smoke from, I think, Canadian wildfires is hitting us badly today. It's been hot as heck, like mid-90s, but would probably have been hotter without the particulate.

It smells nasty out there. My eyes started burning after a short while of being out.

A few photos. The first three were taken by the kids' rowing coach. Smoke makes for beautiful sunrises.

Perry and his doubles partner Tai. They said they didn't noticed first light, it was so gloppy on the horizon and only noticed when the sun was actually up.

Smoke does make for beautiful sunrises and spectacular sunsets, but this is the murk from my deck this evening.
