Three things ETA make that four things

Well, while I like to do these Sunday, I had some stuff to mention today, so eh.

1. Costco. WTF? The only sunscreens available are in spray bottles? Packaged in those horrid heat-sealed plastic shells. I hate amount of plastic packaging that Costco uses, and try to minimize it, but this is beyond the pale. I mean, those (metal) spray cans don't contain much product. Anyhow. Grr.

2. The GOP ousting Liz Cheney from her leadership position for refusing to say that the election was stolen from Trump. Yipes. They truly are a fascist party where the truth is what the leader says is the truth. I'm no fan of Cheney's, to be clear, but her ouster is a symptom of something very very rotten in the GQP. Especially since Gaetz the child rapist is still one of their golden boys.

3. We got the details about what will be Linnea's final regatta, and it's pretty heartbreaking. Parents can't attend. Teammates can't attend. Nothing like the joyful chaos of previous years, pretty much get to the park, race, wait an hour, race again, leave. I'm just so very sad that Linnea's last two years of rowing were completely ruined by Covid.

4. Sunday evening, at golden hour, my sister and I suggested to my brother that it might be a good idea of taking the family photos we wanted to take. "Is this good lighting?" asked my sister. Brother responded that it was the worst possible lighting. Me: "But every single teenager in the area is taking golden hour selfies as we speak!" Brother: "That's because they don't have wrinkles!" LOL.
