Slightly sickening

It's slightly sickening that, with the emergence of the UK B117 and the South African strains of SARS-CoV-2, what I'll call the OG SARS-CoV-2 is now being referred to as wildtype.

Phone calls

I hate talking on the phone. HATE IT. I hate making calls to places to make appointments and resolve issues.

But I can do it. And mostly, I'm clear and concise.

Dh is as well.

Today, Linnea had to contact WSU to figure out why her login wasn't working, after they'd sent her a paper letter claiming her email also wasn't working.

She did real well.

Like. Real well.

We talked before about writing notes about the points she needed to get across, all the information she'd need to have on hand etc, she got it all together, and made the call, got her answer, and she's good.

It was really nice to see that that is a skill that she'll hone starting from a reasonably high point.

Also, I suspect the problem was that she probably got an email verification email and it expired before she clicked on it.
