Merry Christmas, people!

We've having a lazy day. The meat for dinner ended up freezing so it'll be a later dinner than expected, but eh, that's fine. Everyone liked their pressies, and the sticky buns for breakfast were perfect.

Just one question for my children: why do they not learn?

Since the very first screen device came into the house, dh has been applying the screen protectors. Linnea got a Fire, and had a deep scratch on the screen within minutes, so we're pretty religious about it.

However, this is the scenario that plays out every. Single. Year: Kids gets device with screen protector. Mother tells child to get dh to put the screen protector on. Child doesn't listen and attempts to apply the screen protector themselves.

Child always fucks it up.

Dh attempts to help but it's never something that can be recovered from.

So I always have to order new screen protectors on Christmas Day.

LOL.

ETA I do my own phone screen protectors without too much trouble, but anything bigger I ask dh.
