Happy Halloween!

My fave holiday of the year, and it's shaping out to be a bit of a bust, now isn't it?

Hopefully my SIL will send me photos of my niece and nephew!

The weather here today is perfect for trick or treating and it's supposed to be a full moon, even better and spookier. Even when my kids don't go out, or when they just go out with friends, dh and I would usually head to the happenin' area of the neighbourhood to check out costumes and wander a bit. I'll miss that this year, it can get pretty crowded even outside in the street.

The number of events and celebrations that POS scum has ruined because of his evil and incompetence is growing.

But still...

My mom's parents were both Canadian. My grandfather renounced his citizenship because he was working/living in the US and needed to.

When my mom asked, way back when, if she was eligible they said no, because women could not pass on citizenship. My aunt, who is now Canadian, went through the whole naturalization process.

Turns out they changed that sexist law, and it seems also rescinded the fact that my grandfather had to renounced his citizenship.

So my mom would have been eligible for citizenship all these years. And us too, apparently, as her children.

Fuck.
