Moonroofs and trackpads
21 Aug 2020 17:11When comes time to get a new car, I'm going to have a hard time.
I despise moonroofs. Despise. The sun beating down on my head like that is kinda a panic trigger for me. Sunroofs aren't any better. In both cases... WTF dudes, you are cutting a hole in a perfectly good roof, so water can get in? Makes zero sense to me, and imo in cars it should be an option, not mandatory if you want any model above base.
I feel the same way about trackpads. I never ever use mine, turn it off. I don't know how people manage to type, but I always end up touching it and it then does stuff I don't want it to do. Plus I view them in the same way I view moonroofs: you cut a hole in my perfectly good computer case. WTF?
Anyhow. There are no computers without trackpads so I'm SOL on that. At this point, I just want one with enough USB ports. I can't avoid a touchscreen either, but apparently I can disable that as well.
I really really didn't want to be replacing my computer right now.
