Dh, Perry, and I, at the very least, are starting to talk and consider what we can do in November to support voting.
We will all have enough time and financial flexibility to travel -provided covid isn't a total nightmare, that remains to be seen- to attempt to help in places where the right to vote is threatened.
Dunno where, yet, but if we can pull this off, we should be able to help. I'll be watching Biden-Harris campaign mail. OMG. I SO love that ticket.
We shall see.
I'm just horrified at what is happening to the Postal Service and by extension to the right to vote by mail (not even going to "go there" where other assaults to vote are concerned. Ugh). Right now, the R candidate for gov in Washington state, where we've happily voted 100% by mail for over a decade is holding rallies for unmasked people only, and claiming that voting by mail is bad and that he'll rescind that law if elected gov.
Again, voting by mail was well accepted in the state by both parties and had worked well, but now that Trump has decided it's an issue, it's an issue.
