Run away if you can....
26 Feb 2020 14:03Doing Linnea's class registation for next year, and so far, it's not pretty.
I mean, unless she wants to do pre-calc, there is nothing she can do in math. Why is statistics, which would be a good class, only taught in the context of AP stats?
But the worse is PE. She has to take one credit, unless she can get 1/2 credit from taking rowing. If she has to take the full one credit, she has two options: team sports or racket sports. She's already taken her "Life Fitness" credit (weight lifting), and she's not too keen on yoga.
I mean, really? Team sports and racket sports... those are classes for people who are already athletic, classes that require skills that aren't always there for some kids. Linnea can run, she can row, she can do a lot of stuff, but hitting a ball with a racket, a bat, or even catching one is not part of her skillset.
Ugh.
Also, she's trying to give up school for Lent.
