If anything, the cat situation in this house has deteriorated further.

I have no idea what to do any longer. It's gotten to the point where unless a litter box is right at the foot of the cat tree where Auri spends most of her days, she will pee on the floor.

And all three cats are currently using that box, or rather, two and a half are. Twisp prefers to poop on the floor right next to it. I'll add that there is are two self-cleaning Cat Genies and another regular litterbox elsewhere in the house.

Fuck.

Perry is thinking about moving into a house with friends next year and has said he is willing to take BamBam. Dh is against, saying that that would be the same thing as taking him to a shelter (no, it would not), and we'd continue to pay all bills. But I just dunno about BamBam in a house with four other people aside from Perry, with the potential of his getting out, and also peeing all over, making himself an unwelcome housemate.

So blah.

We bought pointy plastic thingies to keep the cats from peeing on the couch. Needless to say, that didn't work: there is about a 2in gap and some acrobatic cat managed to get up on the couch and peed. Only solution would be to entirely 100% cover the couch in armor, but I'm not sure if that is practical.
