The Decade Recap

All over the place, I'm seeing people doing the recap of the decade.

The positive: I'm moving forward to correct the biggest mistake I made in my life, quitting work after having kids. Fingers crossed for a degree and maybe even a job. This is good. My relationship with my spouse is solid. I love my kids, and two of them are doing great. Blah blah blah.

The harder part to deal with: I despise my daughter's boyfriend, and I expect them to get married. My mother is very clearly starting the elderly decline. 10 years ago I had a varied and supportive internet community. Now, I do have a few friends I've met off the internet, but no community. I have no local friends. I'm pretty much a loser.

This is just fucking depressing.
