Sigh. Protests.

I'm sure there is a protest to protect Mueller in Seattle and/or locally tonight. I wish I could go.

My knee is a lot better, it's still not good, and certainly not up to a lot of standing and walking. Which just annoys me and makes me want to cry.

So I'm going to spend some time in a bit figuring out who needs money where for recounts. This knee is going to be expensive. :P

I was telling dh about my conversation with Linnea on WWI and segued into Macron honouring Pétain. I may not be French, but you do not go though the French educational system without an emotional understanding of the shame of the Vichy government, and a horror of what Pétain did. I don't think my spouse quite expected my vehement response. It was probably a bit over the top for a middle aged American suburban housewife.

But... Pétain. Collaborator.

Dh and music teacher are planning out what holiday music they'll work on, and/or what dh (on piano) will work on with Linnea on flute.

Right now, dh is on piano, music teacher on flute, playing Carol of the Bells. So beautiful.

And now, it truly feels like winter is coming :) despite the beautiful sunny (ok, and cold) day today.
