Not Grand Conjunction/Great Alignment visible here. Of course.

It snowed.

Snow.

The snow is almost all gone, but the rain from the afternoon before the snow has flooded the yard, and the sky is cloudy. Dunno if we'll be able to see anything tonight.

I am extremely annoyed.

ETA Because we're so far west, the conjunction happens very shortly after sunset when the planets are low in the sky. This evening the sky was almost clear. Except for... the clouds on the horizon that hid the relevant area of sky. FEH.

We were out Sunday night at probably the right time, but I wasn't sure where to look ("southwest? where in the southwest? how high?") and then got stuck inside. Monday was cloudy. Last night was clearish (except on horizon) but turns out I was looking too late. The article I (finally!) read implied that tonight is too late. Sigh. If true, I guess I'll get my fix by looking at photos online.
