Amazon, really?

nwhikerI ordered a new phone for Linnea three weeks ago from amazon. Her old phone is 4 years old, so eh, it's time.
Yesterday, too late to find the phone anywhere else, they effing cancelled the order on me. Note that the phone was supposed to arrive yesterday.
It's still available on amazon, but not might not get here until past Christmas. I re-ordered, but why did those idiots not just fall back to that?
I am so pissed. If it were anyone else, I wouldn't care, but Linnea is SO into the whole gift giving and getting thing (she's the one who drives most Christmas purchases. Why yes, I did insist "Perry" get her something.) and I hate seeing her disappointed.
Not that there isn't half a zillion other things for her, but she really both wants and needs a new phone.
