Not unexpected....
15 Nov 2020 14:48We were given plenty of warnings to shape up or more restrictions were coming.
We didn't.
The restrictions are here.
Ban on indoor gatherings (which of course, they can't enforce but it gives people cover to cancel Thanksgiving if they want), restaurants and bars shuts down to indoor dining, gyms as well. Etc.
Needed. We're in full exponential growth.
Until 14 December.
All I can think of is the crazy ass Republican who was running for governor, who thinks that masks mandates violate the Constitution (he has a HS education. People whose life work includes study of the Constitution disagree with him, but his followers 100% now believe him.) and I shudder at the thought that he could have been the one to deal with this. Because NO.
93% of people in the state wear masks. 95% should be enough, but the problem is, from what I can tell, what is happening inside the home.
Fingers crossed that we start seeing better data in 2-3 weeks.
