A thing to ponder

Seen on twitter the other day, paraphrased.

People waiting in a long line to vote.

Car drives by, passenger calls out "How long have you been waiting?"

Someone from the back of the line "Four years!"

Pretty much how we all feel, right?

God, I can't beleive we're finally here.

Fingers crossed and thumbs held that this goes the way I hope it does.

Now excuse me while I bake some cookies.

Matthew and I went for a run at a new-to-us county park. We drove past one building with a long line of people outside it. I suspected they were Republicans who followed their Dear Leader's recommendation to vote in person, but I just looked at the results for that township and see that it was a near dead heat (Biden up by 21 votes) - then again, that compares to county overall which was 73% Biden. And I suppose those in person voters could have all been Republicans.
