That was solved quickly
5 Oct 2020 13:18After another call to the management company, after which they promised again to send an email and did not, we were doing dealing with them. Dh's plan was to call the collections people today.
The collections people were actually proactive. They called Perry, it went to voicemail, they followed up with dh who is the guarantor on the lease.
10 minutes later it was solved, with the management company completely out of it. I am not 100% sure, but we may have come out about $200 ahead. We have email confirmation etc, and it all should be done.
The management company are totally incompetent. Perry has a record of all the times he called them, and they always promised a follow up email and never delivered. Perry also said that one of the other people he knows is dealing with the same thing.
I still maintain that teenagers should not be allowed to deal with financial contracts etc. They are too young and lack the experience. Or at least mine is. I mean, I'm quite happy that they reached dh rather than Perry.
