Ugh.

Last Saturday I hurt myself out on our front porch: the boards at the edge are totally rotten and I wasn't paying attention and stepped on one. Leg with through, almost to my knee.

It was ouchy, a lot ouchy, but I got ibuprofen and ice, and while bruised it looked to be ok.

Until today.

Today I noticed there is a hot red spot at the center of the bruise, slightly swollen. Everything else feels like it's getting better but that center red spot worries me. It hurts if I poke at it, but otherwise, not.

I should get it looked at but...

If it gets worse, I guess I'll go in tomorrow. I don't think I broke the skin, so I don't think it's an infection.

FWIW, the porch decking is probably going to be this summer's project if we can schedule it in. We cleared off an area which gave access to the rotting area, which is why I don't think I was aware of how bad it had gotten. Blah.
