We have deck furniture. I really like it, it's black metal with blue denim-ish pillows. It came with some "decorative" pillows in blue/white/BEIGE. I despise beige.

Anyhow, found some colourful pillows at Costco, and figured I'd swap them for the ugly beige ones. I only need four, but I bought three pairs to see which went better with the couch.



Plan: keep the pattern pair and either the teal or red/orange (the actual shade is redder than then orange the photo shows. Not a bright crimson read, but would be described a shade of red rather than a shade of orange).

I could not decide which to pick. So I texted my sister, my SIL (Sepola), and my MIL, all of whom have great taste, and asked Linnea.

Abbreviated results:

Sister: red
SIL: teal
Sister: oh wait, yes, I see that. Teal then.
Linnea: red
MIL: red and teal. The pattern doesn't work with the couch.

Keep the red. It fits nicely with the bit of it in the patterned pillows and gives the whole couch a pop of color.
