Wah. My mushrooms!
28 Nov 2019 22:08I made a delicious wild mushroom ragout today. It was really good.
I told my MIL and SIL to grab some leftovers. And SIL asked if she could bring a box of leftovers for a friend. Sure, we said.
SIL took every single bit of leftover mushrooms. :( Major bummer, both my sister and I had planned on finishing them tomorrow. I was mildly annoyed at that. I mean, take some, but fucking leave some?
I also made a 9x13 of tiramisu. AC, who spent Tday dinner with Dipshit's family, had asked me to save them some, it's one of her fave desserts. There was about 2/3 of the dish left... until SIL came and apparently took everything but about a 2x2 piece. I didn't see that until after she'd left, or I'd have clawed some back. I'm a bit irked.
I should have known, to be honest, and prepared a box for her myself. Last year, she tried to take every last bit of leftover prime rib, leaving not a single morsel. I told her no, she needed to leave at least a set of leftovers for her brother. Both she and my MIL were pissy about that, but come on!
So I'm irked with her and annoyed with myself that I didn't set aside the dessert for AC before SIL helped herself.
She also took about 3/4 of what was left of the chocolate tart and 1/2 the gingerbread. I guess she didn't like the cranberry pie because she didn't take any of that.
