Oh, we may be "better than that", but it's not like anyone will ever know, because we will get buried under the ton of shit the Republicans will throw our way -as we sit there, holier than thou- and we'll never be heard from again.
They cheat. In our system, cheaters win. We may not want to cheat, but that doesn't mean we get to stand there and turn the other fucking cheek.
That whole "when they go low, we go high" thing is part of what cost us the election in 2016. So, nope, Senator Coons.
They cheat, we take the high road, we lose.
Their people act unethically, they stay on. Ours do? They resign. This is problematic as well.
Now, we need to fight back. I'm not saying we need to cheat, that is probably one step too far for me... but pretty much everything else is fair game.
