Some other research group looked at the exact two proteins I'm working with, and described the same phenotype that I'm seeing.
Fuck this shit. And whine whine whine whine whine.
Ugh.
I mean, considering the published a few months ago, just about at the same time as I confirming I did see strong phenotype, there was no way I was going to beat them out on this.
I'm just pissed because I have real good results, of real research importance and blah someone got there first.
But phew, since there is no publication requirement for my MS, I should still be able to get the degree.
