So if she can walk a mile, it's a go. I will be mailing the Outdoors Ed teacher to let him know of her actual limitations, but once we talked with her -talked, not listened to her rants- I think she'll actually behave responsibly.
Mama brag: she got the highest grade in Outdoors Ed this year, and one of the highest he's given, certainly to a Freshman. She doesn't want to mess that up by not doing the leadership part of the class!
