I'm procrastinating from something I should be doing by scanning your old travel entries :^). This reminded me of two things: After similar washcloth surprises (including an AirBnB in Carlsbad NM!) I at long last decided to leave a washcloth in my carryon bag so I don't forget it on the next trip but have it if needed. And we had a similar experience with laundry last year: ended up at a Revolution Laundry just outside a gas station about a km from our airbnb (the description implied we would have it there, but it was not to be).
