What with a hearing being called at the last minute, and after the committee had said they were taking a break until July, I kinda expected that whatever witness it was was going to be hard-hitting.

Cassidy Hutchinson, came the leak. OK, I'm thinking. The gal who said that Mark Gaetz etc wanted pardons?

Yeah.

But OMG.

This was truly was jaw dropping bit of hearing. I mean, the one last week with the dudes from the DOJ sounded like courtroom drama, almost scripted in its perfection of tic-tac-tic-tock back and forth, damn, this is bad, but today was different.

Today was story telling, something we react well, as human beings, I think. Ms Hutchinson told the story of what happened in those days of early January and was in my opinion, profoundly believable.

Damning.

As for other times, with Trump and his admin, or the Scummy Court of the United States: I am shocked but not surprised.
