Ketanji Brown Jackson

She'll be a welcome addition to SCOTUS, I think. How exciting.

My own preference was for Michelle Childs, who was of course slagged on by the Bernie Bros, and was clearly not supported by the RatFucker himself, or Lying Liz. She would have brought educational diversity to the table. I mean, not a cookie cutter Harvard/Yale jurist. The other issue, which probably hurt her as much as the lefty whackaloon's noisemaking, is that she's 55. Which at this point in history is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too old for a Supreme Court pick, since the trend is younger-younger-younger. We're going to be stuck iwth Amy the Bitch Coney Barett for the next fifty years. I suspect that at some point, the Republicans will nominate someone straight out of law school, but he's even passed the bar exam.

Ketanji Brown Jackson is pretty awesome, a former federal public defender, and I'm thrilled that she's been nominated. I'm thrilled to see a Black woman nominated to the Supreme Court.

CDC: majority of healthy Americans can safely take a break from wearing masks.

Dear CDC. I have no cavities. Can I safely take a break from brushing and flossing?

(*) Not true. I'm not fond of flossing but I certainly don't mind brushing my teeth. And I'll continue to wear a mask until things feel more stable.

Also. In a country without universal health care... who can say for sure that they are healthy?
