No, I did not, in fact, name my child BamBam

I got a call this morning from a pediatrics practice we have never been to. I took the call, just in case.

They, um, couldn't locate the records for my child, BamBam. They needed his date of birth. See, the pharmacy had contacted them saying BamBam needed an authorization for his refill for Fluoxetine (Prozac).

I started to giggle, much to the amazement of the poor nurse on the other end of the line.

BamBam, I explained, is my cat. I did not, really, name a child a small human person, after a cartoon character. OMG.

CVS Pharmacy seems to be incapable of getting refills from my vet. This is not the first time we've had mixups with them, and it's always their incompetence. I called them today and they tried to get me to fix the problem, yet again. No, you call the freaking vet, because I have given you paper prescriptions many a time and I have had the vet call in prescriptions, but they always seem to get things messed up.

Oh and....

Perry is in Florida.

I've told him not to get eaten by an alligator.

My sister, who was flying in from Alaska, headed home to Bend, has a layover in Seattle and was able to locate the boyo. She said she got a hug in exchange for a meatball sub. Sounds about right!!
