Three house updates
23 Feb 2021 14:111. Washington Dept of Fish and Wildlife say the bird feeders need to stay down until at least 1 April. Sigh.
2. We're getting a path made from our downstairs back door to the area under the deck, which will be gravel, because there is a septic system under and nobody wants to work over septic. I hope we'll be able to install a bit of a floating deck to give Linnea an outside covered area. We'll see. So far the work looks good. Fingers crossed, we hate contractors.
3. Dh finished installing our old "maple" laminate flooring in the utility room. Then we can hopefully move the litter box that has been in my bathroom since BamBam started bullying Auri and ended up with bladder issues over a year ago out of my bathroom. Especially since some cat (Twisp) seems to want to create a beach atmosphere... at least under his toes. Alas, nocat wants to use the wonderful always clean Cat Genies. Twisp is, to be fair, a bit big for them, and the other two are just buttheads. But I'm really looking forward to getting the ltter box out of my bathroom. It's been over a year -October 2019- since BamBam stressed himself into a UTI and everyone turned up their noses at the Cat Genies, preferring to pee on the couch, laundry etc for a while. But they never went back to using the Cat Genies. Sigh.
