Linnea is going camping with her "squad" and another girl who is friends with two of the other members, but that Linnea only met once.
OMG. It's going to be a mess. I stepped it a bit when it became obvious that they were getting nowhere in figuring out what was needed and who needed to bring what.
Linnea tried to volunteer all of our gear, but I was kinda like, yeah, no NSM. Some things, sure, but some others? No, not in the hands of totally inexperienced campers, sorry.
But between the allergies (a true allergy to dairy, a sensitivity to gluten, allergy to chicken and turkey), the pickiness (one girl only eats whole wheat pasta or brown rice, Linnea won't touch either), and the flat out lack of... awareness (I don't think that the person with the dairy allergy is going to be able to eat rice cooked with cream of mushroom soup, actually...), I am not optimistic about the food situation.
At least there are no nut allergies... worse comes to worse, they can eat peanut butter sandwiches (on GF bread for one, and whole wheat for one other).
