Posts tagged 2020 are about the 2020 election, though mostly at this point about the primary.
Top pick: Still and even more so Kamala Harris.
Top tier: Beto, Inslee, Castro, Gillibrand
Meh: Booker (his fiancée is a Never Hillary so blech on him.), Mayor Pete (which I wrote correctly but I so love Cream-of-Pete and Mayo Pete), Klobuchar.
Putrid, but if I have to, so not quite a hard no: Biden, Warren.
No way in hell: RatFucker Sanders.
I'm finding myself more and more impressed with Beto O'Rourke. After a campaign start bathed in privilege, he's getting it right more often than not, and VERY right even more. The more I hear about Castro, the more I think he's underrated. Gillibrand, who I don't really like, is in my top tier because her policies are solid and I think she's good.
I still like Inslee, but I know he doesn't stand a chance.
Klobuchar... well, I don't hear much from her or about her, so who knows? I'm put in the Meh list because of that, but I'm open to hearing more. I like Booker, but his association with whats-her-name who just couldn't vote for Hillary and helped usher in Trump makes me wonder about his character. Pete... he's a lightweight. Very little policy. Like Biden, he is trying to make nice with conservatives and that isn't going to work long term. He's not great.
Biden and Warren. Ugh on both. Warren at least has some good plans, but, as I said in a previous post, I question the integrity and compassion of someone who was a Republican thought the 90s. Biden is an out of touch, handsy, tapioca-like smiling moron who thinks he can work with other side. That's what Obama thought too. Have you heard of Justice Garland? Yeah, me neither.
RatFucker remains the hardest NO of all of them. I hate him more than I hate Trump.
The media, however, has decided that Harris out and it's going to be Bernie, Biden, or Warren. Still no vetting of the RatFucker, and Biden is getting the warm and fuzzy Uncle Joe treatment from most of them. Warren, I fear, is the easiest of them to bring down, so they'll let her go until they have to rein her in, so that Trump can win his second term.
The debates. Well, with 20 people, it's going to be clusterfuck. I'm more and more thinking that the RNC's "kiddie table debate" last time was not a bad idea. I suspect this time what will happen is that Harris will "randomly" not be on the same night as the media darlings. First "tier" will be Ratfucker, Beto, Biden, Warren, Pete, and minor candidates to fill in. Kamala will "just happen" to end up with the others. She will dominate there, but she'll not be compared apples to apples and the perception of being at the "kiddie debate" will do more damage than can probably be recovered from.
Anyhow.
