So it looks like Biden is going to be the nominee.

Ugh.

Better than Bernie is about all I can say for him.

I didn't like any of the folks that were left, so I was completely just blah'ed out on the whole mess.

I think about the positive energy, the diversity, the excitement of a year ago, and I want to weep. It comes down to three white grandpas and a white grandma. Collectively about as inspiring as a milk dunked in bread, except of course to the Cult of the High Sparrow.

But Tulsi got one delegate and as one of her supporters crowed at some Kamala supporters, that more delegates that Kamala got. Rolled my eyes at that one.

My ballot is due next week. I was going to write in Harris, but depending, I might strategically vote for Biden, and throw up while I do it. As I said at other times, he's Tapioca Joe. Boring, bland, and perceived by people who know their county is ill as something that can settle the tummy and calm the bowels. Or whatever. Blah.

Aside from Bloomberg, who wasn't on my radar at all, Bernie, Liz, and Biden were pretty much the bottom of my list. I don't know what metaphor is more helpful: that we're left with the dregs of what was once an exciting group of candidates, or that scum rises.
