About those enhanced DLs: We went to Ontario for a Canada Day event. One of our group is a young 20-something who was traveling with her dad. She completed her ArriveCAN thing using her driver's license, so assumed it was acceptable ID. She then accidentally forgot her passport in Ann Arbor before going to her parents' house, told her dad "it's okay, I have the enhanced ID" and he thought "I'm impressed, I've been meaning to do that myself." They got to the border and she found out ... nope. But the Canadian border guard was in a good enough mood that he let her in. And while hearing this story I was thinking how I only knew all these intricacies because of one of your blog posts :^) (And her plan was that if the US didn't let her back in with her ReadID and passport-photo-emailed-by-BF, she would wait in Tim Horton's while her dad did a round trip to A2 for her passport.)
