I'm going to have to admit that my menus are just going to remain like this, uninspired and boring, for the time to come. I did make a variation on this version of jeera aloo this week and it was quite good and went well with the fake tandoori chicken.
If I can, I want to make this on Sunday: Dijon and Cognac beef stew this weekend. Perry doesn't like mustard, so he may protest, but, eh, I'm tired of making the same stuff.
Wednesday: chicken enchiladas (with olives, yum!)
Thursday: baked potatoes, broccoli cheese, sautéed mushrooms
Friday: chicken breast, roasted potatoes, green beans
Saturday: matar paneer, naan, roasted cauliflower
Sunday: Dijon-Cognac beef stew, noodles, probably more green beans
Monday: spaghetti with meat sauce and mushrooms.
Tuesday: leftovers
If my kids protest pasta on Sunday AND Monday, I will point out to them that they are more than willing to ear ramen day in day out, so they can lump it. Heh.

* roasted hake with sweet peppers (Z wants us eating more fish. I don't use hake, and only put olives on half since i don't like olives)
* Cuban pork tenderloin (T calls it "pork from tenderloy" - long story)
* oven-roasted chicken shawarma
M, T, & Z like chicken wings (I do not) - he found a recipe where you cook them in crock pot on low for 8 hours then finish with sauce under the broiler. Trader Joe's sells a bag of 3 lbs frozen wings and he uses that.
Not an entree: sweet potatoes with oven baked feta, from _Sirocco_ cookbook. The baked feta is what makes this dish imho.
